This Privacy Policy describes how Statbox (“the Site”, Chinese name 数盒) handles information related to your use of the Site. The Site is a public, read-only statistics site. The first release shows U.S. CPI-U. By using the Site, you acknowledge this policy.

The Site has no accounts (no registration or sign-in). We do not collect names, email addresses, or other identity information.

1. Information We Collect

This information is not used for tracking you across other websites, and we do not sell it. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

Public statistics: CPI shown on the Site comes from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED), series CPIAUCSL. Our server stores a copy of that official public series so we can display it. That copy is not your personal information.
Technical data: when you visit, the server may record basic request metadata needed to operate and secure the service (e.g. IP, timestamps).

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account profiles.

2. How We Use Information

Display the CPI series to the public (latest value, as-of date, and chart);
Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with law.

This data is used for Site functionality only. We do not use it for cross-site tracking or advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

3. Storage & Transfer

The FRED public series copy is stored on infrastructure we operate (currently in mainland China).
Browser–server traffic uses HTTPS.

4. Sharing

We share personal information only with your consent, when required by law, or in a corporate transaction subject to this policy.

CPI data originates from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED). Statbox is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Reserve.

5. Your Rights

The Site has no accounts, so there is no “delete account” flow;
You may stop visiting the Site at any time;
If you believe we hold personal information about you, contact us at the email below. We will handle the request within a reasonable time, except where law requires retention.

6. Children

The Site is intended primarily for adults. If you are under 14, use it only with guardian consent. We will delete such data if collected without proper consent.

7. Changes

We may update this page and the effective date. Material changes will be communicated reasonably. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
